This course is designed to provide students with an overview of approaches in teaching English as a foreign language. You will learn about the theoretical foundations and instructional practices in second/foreign language teaching and work in small groups to demonstrate various teaching methods and techniques. You will also become familiar with the current English textbooks used in junior and senior high schools and reflect upon your own philosophy and beliefs about teaching English in Taiwan.
